This book is about the parallel between the portfolio approach
in investment management and business management. In both cases the managers
are confronted with the emotions in the market and the market developments
and with the more rational requirements of the organization. Like in the
investment market, a (portfolio) manager should follow the market
developments, but try to match these with decisions that fit the
organizational (or investment) profile.
